Solar Impulse 2, Completes Flights Across U.S, Lands in New York


      Solar Impulse 2, the solar powered airplane completed its voyage across the United States and landed at New York City in the early hours of saturday in an attempt to fly around the whole world.
  The Switzerland Made Expermienal plane landed at JFK International Airport at 4.am after a 4 hour 4 minute flight from Leigh Valley International Airport in Pennysylvania.
  Before the plane landed, it flew around the Statue of Liberty,n the French Made Gift to Americans.
  "Si2 is now safe in New York, JFK Airport.... Our home is hangar 19 in John F.Kennedy International Airport". the pilots' logbook read. 
  Meanwhile the co-founder of the project Bertrand Piceard said in a Statement that " We have received a very positive and heartwarming responsses during our journey through the United States, because it is a Country of Explorers.
   Pilots and Andre Borschberg and Bertrand Piceard who took turns piloting the craft is set to start the next round of the Journey, expecting to leave soon to cross the Atlantic Ocean For Europe or South Africa on their way to completing an Aviation Feat to advance environmentally Compatible Technology.
  Across the United States, they Stopped in Phoenix, Tusla, Oklahoma, Dayton, Ohio, home of Aviation Pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wright, Allen Town and Pennysylvania.
  The Solar Impulse 2 wings stretch wider than those of a Boeing 747, equipped with 17,000 Solar cells that Power Propellers and charge Batteries. The Plane runs on stored energy at Night with a speed of 28mph but that speed can double during yhe day when the sun's rays are strongest.
  Solar Impulse 2 begun its trip in March 2015 from Abu Dhabi, UAE and made stops in Oman, Burma, China and Japan.
