Soon, All of German Tech Companies To Be Chinese
The rate at
which Chinese are buying German Tech Companies is quite alarming. Germany is
continuously losing key technology to Chinese buyers while China forbids
foreign firms from entering its market.
German
Economy Minister who also is the Vice Chancellor and Leader of Germany’s Social
Democrats has stopped some takeovers of
its tech companies by Chinese and he is calling on the European Union to
take a tougher approach and stop China’s takeover of European Tech Firms.
In China
Foreign Firms are hampered from buying Chinese companies and takeovers are
approved only to the benefit of the Chinese discriminating against the
Foreigners.
The Economy
Minister is taking a tough stance on China and also said of China is going on a
shopping tour here with a long list of interesting companies with the intention
of acquiring strategically important key technologies.
This year
alone, Chinese Investors have racked up 47 deals to buy German Companies with a
total volume of 10.3 billion euros
compared with 29 deals worth 263 million euros in the whole of 2015.
Deputy
Economy Minister of Germany Michael Machnig told the Financial Times that
Berlin was worried about takeovers that seemed driven by the Chinese government
or were about gaining access to german
technology, we need to have the powers to really investigate deals when it is
clear that they are driven by Industrial policy to enable technology transfers,
when necessary in exceptional cases, maybe even to say we’re not going to allow
them” he said.
It seems
the Chinese have a lot of Money to buy anything and I see the Chinese buying
more of Westerners Companies, they only want the money and the Chinese have the
purchasing power but this cast a spell on Future Chinese Investments in the E.U
and other Countries.
