Netflix has just announces dates for Sense8 Christmas Special and second season

Ever since Netflix renewed Sense8 for a second season in 2015, there’s been little news about the series. Netflix finally dropped the news via Twitter earlier this afternoon, announcing the premiere date of the next season, as well as a

Christmas special, which will air later this month.

Sense8: A Christmas Special will begin streaming on Friday, December 23rd, while the show’s second season will premiere on May 5th, 2017.

The first season of Sense8 introduced us to a group of eight individuals across the world who discover that they can tap into and experience the senses of each other.

The announcement noted that season 2 will take place where the first season left off, with the cast of characters “on the run from Whispers (Terrence Mann), and forced to question their very identity”.
